A STUDY OF LOW-LYING EXCITED STATES IN Mn$sup 56$ AND Ho$sup 166$ BY MEASURING CASCADE $gamma$-QUANTUM COINCIDENCES (in Russian)

The technique for measurement of the intensity of cascade gamma -quanta was employed to investigate the low-lying levels of the odd-odd nuclei Mn/sup 5// sup 6/ and Ho/sup 1//sup 6//sup 6/. The multipolarity of the 25 and 85 kev radiative transitions in Mn/sup 5//sup 6/ was determined. The level scheme of the strongly deformed Ho/sup 1//sup 6//sup 6/ nucleus, which exhibits a rotational band is discussed. (auth)
