Radiation control around French reactors is discussed. Radiological measurements and alarm signals are displayed on a central control panel. The detectors for measuring external radiation and the atmospheric contamination are described, particularly a device for simultaneous measurement of contamination by dusts and gases. The alarm system and recording of measurements are also discussed. A simplifled system that would provide data that is more useful is proposed. (D.C.W.)
