Leading particles from deuteron-gold collisions have been studied at the CERN SPS using the NA35 TPC centered on the beam. In this configuration the TPC covers a range of y > 3 for protons and y > 4 for pions, with nearly complete P{sub t} acceptance. Negative hadron spectra and net charge distributions for semi-central collisions will be presented as a function of y and pt. The data will be compared to the predictions of the VENUS model. Estimates of rapidity loss from d+Au collisions will be compared to those of {sup 16}O and {sup 32}S+Au at the same beam energy.
