The search for t{bar t} production in the six-jets channel

The authors give preliminary results of a search for t{bar t} production in p{bar p} collisions at {radical}s = 1.8 TeV using data collected at the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF). The search is performed using the decay channel t{bar t} {yields} six jets. Kinematic cuts are applied to reduce the QCD backgrounds. The authors search for events with an identified b-quark jet and determine the invariant mass of the candidate t and {bar t} quarks. The results include an analysis of 19.3 pb{sup {minus}1} of data collected in 1992-93 and data analysis from the ongoing Tevatron run.
