The top mass measurement in the lepton plus 4 jets mode

Journal Article · · Bulletin of the American Physical Society
OSTI ID:374950
The authors present a review of the techniques used to measure the mass of the top quark at CDF using lepton plus 4 jet events. The data sample for this measurement was collected using the CDF detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider and totals 19.3 pb{sup {minus}1} from the 1992-1993 run plus data from the ongoing Tevatron run. The mass measurements using data from 1992-1993 run are reviewed and improvements in the analysis for current run will be discussed.
