For direct measurements of absorbed doses in vivo in e.g. radionuclide therapy, the use of mini-TLDs has been proposed. This investigation reports on signal dependence on different parameters. Rodshaped teflon-imbedded thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs) with dimensions 0.2 x 0.4 x 5 mm were prepared from TLD-discs. The TLD materials were CaSO{sub 4}:Dy and LiF. Irradiated mini-TLDs appeared to be sensitive to daylight and illumination with laboratory fluorescent tubes. Fading effects in darkness were examined after Co-60 irradiation for both kinds of dosimeters.
