Materials Data on La2HgPb by Materials Project
La2HgPb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2HgPb ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hg and one Pb atom. The La–Hg bond length is 3.12 Å. The La–Pb bond length is 2.99 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Pb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
