Materials Data on LiCuAu2 by Materials Project
LiAu2Cu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiAu2Cu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Li1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au1- atoms. Both Li–Au bond lengths are 2.47 Å. Au1- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li1+ and one Cu1+ atom. The Au–Cu bond length is 2.43 Å. Cu1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au1- atoms.
