Materials Data on CuNiAu2 by Materials Project
NiAu2Cu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two NiAu2Cu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ni1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au1- atoms. Both Ni–Au bond lengths are 2.42 Å. Au1- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ni1+ and one Cu1+ atom. The Au–Cu bond length is 2.44 Å. Cu1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au1- atoms.
