Materials Data on La2RuAu by Materials Project
La2RuAu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2RuAu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ru and one Au atom. The La–Ru bond length is 2.29 Å. The La–Au bond length is 2.78 Å. Ru is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
