Materials Data on La2IrRu by Materials Project
La2RuIr crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2RuIr ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ru and one Ir atom. The La–Ru bond length is 2.35 Å. The La–Ir bond length is 2.50 Å. Ru is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
