The general objective of this work is to provide component testing services and/or ordering information on FFTF component vapor traps, freeze vents, and filters. Specifically, the objectives are: (1 ) construct and evaluate the performance of 5-scfm versions of three existing vapor trap designs, while maintaining the space restrictions imposed by FFTF applications, and issue evaluation reports, (2) revise and issue the RDT Standard for vapor traps, and prepare an RFP (Ordering Data) for the FFTF static and dynamic vapor traps, (3) construct and evaluate the performance of one freeze vent, and issue an evaluation report, (4) participate in the revision of the RDT Standard for the freeze vent, and prepare an RFP (Ordering Data) for the FFTF freeze vent, and (5) prepare an RDT Standard for filters for the FFTF sodium charging system, and prepare an RFP (Ordering Data) for these filters. Technical progress for FY1971 is provided.
