Moessbauer effect study of 57Fe in transition metal borides

The phase characteristics and nuclear hyperfine properties of sixty different transition metal borides were studied by Mossbauer effect spectroscopy. The prepared mixed iron-transition metal boride phases include MB2, M3B4, MB, M3B2, and M2B types.
