Performed design and analysis tasks to support design and testing of a prototype Experimental Physics Package for Shock Physics Experiments at Proton Radiography. Testing of low-fidelity vessel system prototype is in progress. General finite element analysis (FEA) process: identify critical components, simplify model geometry, take advantage of symmetry, apply proper boundary conditions, create a mesh that will solve quickly but accurately, check for solution convergence.
