Linear Orbit Correction in the AGS to RHIC Transfer Lines
- Brookhaven National Lab. (BNL), Upton, NY (United States)
This investigation has several objectives, of which only one is reported on here. This is specifically to determine whether the linear orbit may be corrected to within one beam sigma in both planes, even with any single bpm or dipole corrector broken; more generally, where is the linear orbit correction in the AGS to RHIC transfer line best and where is it the worst?
