Relationship between the magnetizations of sublattices in gadolinium iron garnet

The results of magnetic and structural studies of Gd/sub 3/F/sub 5/O/sub 12/ and Y/sub 3/Fe/sub 5/O/sub 12/ before and after interaction with neutrons, which were carried out to determine the role played by each magnetic sublattice in changes observed in the physical properties of Gd/sub 3/Fe/sub 5/O/sub 12/ are reported.
