Title: Why does B 2 O 3 suppress nepheline (NaAlSiO 4 ) crystallization in sodium aluminosilicate glasses?

Abstract

Addition of B 2 O 3 in aluminosilicate glasses leads to structural changes that cause increase in liquidus viscosity and thereby suppresses crystallization.
