Title: Aerosol and iodine removal from the head-end offgas of a reprocessing facility; Aerosol- und Jodentfernung aus dem head end-Abgas einer Wiederaufarbeitungsanlage

The offgases of a reprocessing facility must be cleaned, removing liquid and solid suspended matter, gaseous iodine and ruthenium (in the form of RuO/sub 4/), and the noble gases and tritium. Suspended particulates which call for radiation protection are those radioisotopes like the actinides Pu, Am, and Cm, and other radioisotopes such as /sup 134/Cs, /sup 137/Cs, /sup 89/Sr, /sup 90/Sr and /sup 144/Ce.
