Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:811345
This final technical progress report covers activities of the Committee on Gravitational Physics (CGP) to its completion. The CGP was charged by the National Research Council (NRC) with assessing the state of the science and making an assessment of the field as part of the Board on Physics and Astronomy's decadal survey series Physics of a New Era. The report of the committee, Gravitational Physics: Exploring the Structure of Space and Time, was approved by the NRC. The report outlines the achievements and opportunities in Gravitational Physics in the last decade, and identifies goals for the field in the upcoming decade (2000-2010). It was published in 1999 by the National Academy Press, and was included as an attachment to this final report.
