Nuplex 80+ advanced control complex: Design certification and implementation experience

The NRC approval of the Nuplex 80+ standardized advanced control room (ACR) design and human factors engineering (HFE) design process is a significant first step for the next generation of commercial nuclear power plants. A description of actual work on the design certification is presented.
