FENIX: the LRLTRAN compiler for the STAR
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:7365912
The FENIX compiler, available on the CDC 7600 and STAR-100 computers, is intended to replace the STAR compiler now on the 7600. FENIX accepts the full LRLTRAN language, but has a few differences from the STAR compiler that make it more compatible with standard Fortran. The major differences are: (1) the requirement that all macro and compile-time statements must be processed through the PRECOMP macro processor, and (2) that blanks have no meaning except in Hollerith and label fields.
