Computer graphics by example, Part 7: the TV80LIB graphics library. [FORTRAN library for CDC 7600]

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5822360

TV80LIB is a FORTRAN library of graphics subroutines and device processors. TV80LIB routines are device-independent in that all picture-drawing calls are independent of the particular output device being used. This report, written for the new user, shows by example how to use TV80LIB with CHAT (the compiler for the LRLTRAN language). All libraries used (and the CHAT compiler as well) are available in public files on the CDC 7600 computers of the Livermore Octopus Network. The examples help to illustrate the use of decive processors, drawing routines, and color selection with TV80LIB in an LRLTRAN source program. 13 figures.
