/sup 200/Pt-/sup 200/Au decay chain

The ..gamma.. decay of the /sup 200/Pt-/sup 200/Au decay chain to levels in /sup 200/Au and /sup 200/Hg was investigated using Ge(Li) detectors in singles and coincidence. Sources were produced by the /sup 204/Hg(n,2p3n)/sup 200/Pt and /sup 198/Pt(t,p)/sup 200/Pt reactions. Thirty ..gamma.. rays from /sup 200/Au decay were placed in a level scheme involving 14 excited states in /sup 200/Hg. ..gamma.. transitions from the decay of /sup 200/Pt were observed for the first time. Of 35 ..gamma.. rays ascribed to the decay of /sup 200/Pt, 31 were placed in a level scheme involving excited states of /sup 200/Au at 60, 76, 104, 166, 240, 244, 293, 304, 390, and 469 keV. Limits on spin assignments for some of the new levels were determined. (AIP)
