This set of drawings details the mechanical parts for a 50 Joule electrical driver package for use with coaxial flashlamp dye lasers. The driver is a low inductance, fast rise time coaxial configuration designed around a coaxial 0.16 microfarad capacitor. The HY3202 thyratron switch is water cooled at the anode-to-capacitor junction. The capacitor and the strip line contacts to the flashlamp are immersed in an oil bath to prevent high voltage breakdown.
