Mark IX 20 kV capacitor bank (Engineering Materials)

The Mark IX Capacitor Bank was designed to provide pulse power to flash lamps for optically pumping solid state neodymium-glass or ruby lasers. This capacitor bank charges one to four 14 microfarad capacitors up to 20,000 volts. The bank contains control in unity to permit local or remote control of capacitor charging and firing.
