By means of a computer calculations were made on the activity coefficients of the ions in nitric acid solutions of Th(IV), U(IV), Np(IV), and Pu(IV) nitrates, which are components of a mathematical model of the extraction distribution of these elements between a nitric acid solution and extractants of the nucleophilic type, i.e., amine salts, amides, neutral organophosphorus compounds, and other similar extractants. The computer program developed may be used for the calculation (with little consumption of time and small effort) of the activity coefficients for all other systems to which the calculation equations used apply.
