This directory contains a variety of information about practical, nonpolluting alternatives to fossil fuels and nuclear energy. The 2500 U.S. and foreign sources include publications, major articles (in English), conferences, research associations, manufacturers, and facilities. This fifth edition of SYNERGY includes only sources not listed in Vol. 1 (July 1974) (announced in EAPA 1:00577) and Vol. 2 (July 1975). SYNERGY is updated semi-annually, with the July issues cumulative for one year. Subscription rates are: individuals--$8/1 year, $5/copy; institutions--$14/1 year, $8/copy. In this issue, the references are grouped under the following categories: solar energy; goethermal energy and other steam; other thermal energy; electrical energy; water power; wind power; energy storage; and miscellaneous. This is preceded by lists of periodicals for each category.
