This directory contains a variety of information about practical, non-polluting alternatives to fossil fuels and nuclear energy. The 4000 U.S. and foreign sources include publications, major articles (in English), conferences, research associations, manufacturers, and facilities. This edition of SYNERJY includes only sources from August 1976 through July 1977; none of these were listed in SYNERJY Vol. 3 (July 1976), SYNERJY Vol. 2 (July 1975) or SYNERJY Vol. 1 (July 1974). Since there is no repetition, reference to the earlier editions of SYNERJY is necessary for previous information. SYNERJY is updated semi-annually; July issues are cumulative for one year. In this issue the references are grouped under the following categories: solar energy; geothermal energy and other steam; other thermal energy; electrical energy; water power; energy storage; and miscellaneous. This is preceded by lists of periodicals for each category. See EAPA 3:628 for abstract for Vol. 3.
