Note on the variability of the quasar 3C 454. 3 at 408 MHz

The quasar 3C 454.3 together with a number of other sources was observed from 1972 by means of the western antenna of the radio interferometer at the same frequency. The aim of these observations was to establish the presence of variability in the radiation flux of a number of sources that are variable at higher frequencies and in the optical range. The results are given and indicate that over a period of about 1.5 years the change in the flux of the studied quasar at 408 MHz did not appreciably exceed the accuracy of the measurement. (JFP)
