Analytical procedures based on absorption or scattering of nuclear radiation in the analyzed material are discussed in this book. Most of the procedures considered are of the nondestructive type of reaction. Chapters in the book are devoted to analysis based on ..cap alpha.. particle scattering; absorption and backscattering of ..beta.., ..gamma.., and chi radiation; Mossbauer Effect; radioisotope x-ray fluorescence; interaction of neutrons; and ionization caused by nuclear radiation.
