A Cherenkov total-absorption shower spectrometer based on a KRS-6 crystal is described; the spectrometer was calibrated for monoenergetic single electrons in the 400-to 1200-MeV energy range. It was shown that the energy resolution of the spectrometer in this energy interval varies from 19.5 to 13 percent.
