Hollow relativistic electron beam in a coaxial gun with magnetic insulation

The shaping of hollow beams is investigated. An experiment aimed at obtaining and transporting a strong-current hollow beam of relativistic electrons was carried out with the ''tonus'' accelerator. The experimental gun includes a cold-emission diode in the form of a coaxial cathode and anode arrangement placed in a drift tube.
