Levels of /sup 92/Nb using /sup 89/Y(. cap alpha. ,n. gamma. )/sup 92/Nb and /sup 92/Zr(p,n. gamma. )/sup 92/Nb

The states of /sup 92/Nb were studied using the reactions /sup 89/Y(..cap alpha..,n..gamma..)/sup 92/Nb and /sup 92/Zr(p,n..gamma..)/sup 92/Nb. The level and decay scheme of /sup 92/Nb up to 1.6 MeV excitation was deduced from excitation function and ..gamma..-..gamma.. coincidence data. Spins were deduced for many states from the analysis of ..gamma..-ray angular distribution and ..gamma..-..gamma.. angular correlation data. These include members of the 1g/sub 9///sub 2//sup ..pi../ x 2d/sub 5///sub 2//sup ..nu../ sextuplet at 286 (J = 3) and 481 (J = 4) keV excitation, and the (2p/sub 1///sub 2//sup ..pi../)/sup -1/ x 2d/sub 5///sub 2//sup ..nu../ doublet at 226 (J = 2) and 390 (J = 3) keV excitation.
