The synthesis and initial physical studies were reported for the bis(fulvalene) dinickel system with oxidation states 0, +1, and +2. Visible, ir, uv, and electronic spectral and magnetic susceptibility studies were discussed. Comparisons were made with the properties of corresponding iron and cobalt complexes. (DDA)
