Inclusive cross sections for the production of particles with large transverse momenta on nuclei

It is shown that the inclusive cross section for the production of particles with large p/sub T/ on nuclei is determined as a function of y and A by the two-particle inclusive cross section for the production of hadrons with small p/sub T/.
