Comparison of the effectiveness of CaDTPA and ZnDTPA in removing /sup 242/Cm from the rat
Journal Article

The effectiveness of CaDTPA and ZnDTPA in removing /sup 242/Cm from the rat was compared as a function of the amount of chelate and the time interval between /sup 242/Cm injection and treatment by a single injection of DTPA. CaDTPA was superior to ZnDTPA during early treatment, but there was virtually no difference in effectiveness when the treatment was delayed. The response of /sup 242/Cm to chelate therapy was similar to that reported previously with /sup 241/Am.
