Search for the reaction t + t. -->. cap alpha. + d + e/sup -/ + nu-bar

The /sup 3/He(/sup 3/He,de/sup +/..nu..)/sup 4/He reaction has been reported with sigma = 3.4 nb/(sr MeV), E3/sub H/ = 13.5 MeV. We have searched for deuteron production with /sup 3/H(t,de/sup -/nu-bar) ..cap alpha.. reaction; we find sigma < or = 0.3 nb/sr, at E/sub t/ = 1.4 MeV.
