Data on different works on the vapor phase circuit

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:7307582
Various types of data obtained from hydrogenation works on the vapor phase circuit are presented as a chart. The data were from Politz, Gelsenberg, Scholven, and Leuna. The pressure range used was 300 atm. The data obtained included: catalyst; pressure on the suction side, pressure side, and where gas hydrate was observed; temperature of circulating gases, on suction side, pressure side, and at location of fashydrates; temperature of catchpot; observation of gas hydrate; and kg H/sub 2/O/100 m/sup 3/ circulating gas in circuit and kg H/sub 2/O/m/sup 3/ of hydrocarbons. Data on the composition on the suction side, outled of suction flask and converter outlet were recorded. The composition was indicated with respect to CO/sub 2//CO, H/sub 2/O, O/sub 2/, H/sub 2/, N/sub 2/, CH/sub 4/, C/sub 2/H/sub 6/, C/sub 3/H/sub 8/, iC/sub 4/H/sub 10//nC/sub 4/H/sub 10/, C/sub 5/ and higher, percent unsaturated, and gmNH/sub 3/m/sup 3/. The date obtained was also recorded. These dates ranged from May 14, 1940 to January 15, 1946. The two catalysts used were 6434 and 5038.
