Data of different works on the liquid phase circuit

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:7220548
Data obatined from hydrogenation works on the liquid phase circuit are presented in chart form. The data were obtained from Politz, Gelsenberg, Welheim, Wesseling, Scholven, Leuna, and Boehlen. The pressure range used for Politz, Gelsenberg, Welheim, and Wesseling was 500 to 700 atm. The pressure range for Scholven, Leuna, and Boehlen was 300 atm. The given data at each of these plants was: pressure on the suction side, pressure side, and where gas hydrates were observed; temperature of the circulating gases on the suction side, pressure side, in front of the gas cooler, behind the gas cooler, and at the location of the gas hydrates; observation of the gas hydrates; kg H/sub 2/O per 100 m/sup 3/ of circulating gas behind the catchpot; kg H/sub 2/O per 100 m/sup 3/ of circulating gas where gas hydrates had been observed, and kg H/sub 2/O per m/sup 3/ of hydrocarbons. The composition of the circulating gases with respect to CO/sub 2//CO, H/sub 2/S, O/sub 2/, H/sub 2/, N/sub 2/, CH/sub 4/, C/sub 2/H/sub 6/, C/sub 3/H/sub 8/, iC/sub 4/H/sub 10//nC/sub 4/H/sub 10/, C/sub 5/ and higher, percentage of unsaturation, and gmNH/sub 3//m/sup 3/ were also given at several locations in the process at the various plants.
