Investigation of certain inclusive distributions of hyperons and K/sup 0//sub 1/ mesons in. pi. /sup -/ /sup 12/C collisions at 40 GeV/c

Results are presented of investigations of certain inclusive spectra of ..lambda.. hyperons and K/sup 0//sub 1/ mesons produced in ..pi../sup -/ /sup 12/C interactions at 40 GeV/c. The distributions for the ..pi../sup -/ /sup 12/C interactions are compared with the corresponding distributions for ..pi../sup -/p collisions. It can be concluded that the carbon nucleus changes the momentum and angular characteristics of the ..lambda.. and K/sup 0//sub 1/ particles only insignificantly.
