U. S. energy balance of trade: 1963-1973
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:7296396
The import and export of goods and services for the U.S. in 1963, 1967, and 1973 are energy-costed. Despite the fact that net imports of fuels increased drastically, the energy embodied in imported goods changed very little (averaging about 6% of domestic production), and imports and exports of goods remained in nearly complete energy balance.
