New guidelines for risk assessment

This article discussed five policy documents issued by EPA concerning risk assessment. These documents contained guidelines for assessing carcinogens, mutagens, suspect development toxicants, and chemical mixtures, and for estimating exposures to these substances. These policy documents officially affected only EPA but unofficially they affected everyone that had a stake in the regulation of chemicals in the environment.
