Air pollution across boundaries

Two studies contain assessments of the effects of air pollution: the first considering the impact of air pollution on historical monuments; the second estimating the extent and intensity of the current forest damage in the ECE region. Another set of studies presents evaluation of the efficiency and costs of technologies for controlling emissions of sulphur and nitrogen oxides from stationary sources. A range of commercially available technologies holding promise of improved cost-effectiveness also is examined. Concluding reports update recent advances in developing and further strengthening a framework for integrated assessment of air pollution control.
