Definitional mission for a power-plant-rehabilitation project in Poland. Export trade information
The government of Poland has decided to make investments in rehabilitating and modernizing its existing power plants. It has requested from the U.S. Trade and Development Program (TDP) a sole source award to Westinghouse for conducting a feasibility study for the rehabilitation of a representative power plant in Poland, and specific studies for six additional plants. The study proposed by Westinghouse would focus on the modernization of the full array of 200MW Polish/Russian designed and built power plants. The study would involve a detailed feasibility assessment for a typical plant followed by customized feasibility study for all other plants. The definitional mission makes an independent assessment of the project requirements, potential U.S. exports, and the issue of a sole source to Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
