Determination of the Cu-local density of states in CuAuI using angle-integrated photoemission

The authors have determined experimentally the Cu-site local density of states in CuAuI from angle-integrated photoemission measurements. The measurements are in very good agreement with the computed (first-principles) photocurrent using input potential functions and densities of states obtained from electronic structure calculations based on the SCF-LMTO-ASA method. They conclude that the latter scheme provides a realistic description of the Cu local density of states in CuAuI.
