Title: Phosphate-specific fluorescence labeling under aqueous conditions

Abstract

We introduce a technique which achieves phosphate-specific fluorescence labeling under aqueous conditions. The method is convenient since it is carried out in a single step and the residual reagents are removed by cation-exchange trapping. These collective advantages make the methodology worthy of further attention as a means to detect DNA adducts and some other trace phosphate-analytes. 16 refs., 2 figs.
