Plutonium and americum concentration along fresh water food chains of the Great Lakes, U. S. A. General summary of progress, 1975--1976

Progress is reported for studies on the distribution of long-lived transuranic nuclides and /sup 137/Cs introduced into the Great Lakes by fallout deposits or in radioactive effluents from nuclear facilities. Emphasis is placed on the content of /sup 137/Cs, /sup 241/Am, /sup 239/Pu, /sup 240/Pu, and /sup 244/Cm in plankton, fish, and sediments sampled in Lake Erie and Lake Ontario during 1975 and 1976.
