Improved experimental test of time-reversal symmetry in /sup 19/Ne. beta. decay

We report on a new measurement of the time-reversal--violating triple angular correlation between the nuclear spin and the positron and neutrino directions DJx (v/sub ..beta../ x q/sub ..nu../). Our result for the decay process /sup 19/Ne..-->../sup 19/F/sup -/+epsilon/sup +/+..nu.. is D=-0.0005 +- 0.0010, consistent with time-reversal symmetry.
