Multichannel system for the ignition of spark gaps

A system for the ignition of the spark gaps of pulse-voltage generators is developed which allows simultaneous starting of up to ten pulse-voltage generators. The circuit is started by a logic pulse having an amplitude 0.6 V and a duration of 10 nsec. The time delay of pulse-voltage generator ignition is approximately 150 nsec. The output pulse is negative and has an amplitude approximately 13 kV. The internal impedance of each output of the circuit is approximately 5 ..cap omega... Connection of the firing electrode of the pulse-voltage generator to the output of the circuit is accomplished by means of a coaxial cable.
