Hanford Site Chemical Processing Long-Range Plan, fiscal year 1991
This document presents the Hanford Site Chemical Processing Long-Range Plan for fiscal year 1991. The plan provides operating missions for chemical processing activities at the Hanford Site through fiscal year 2006. The plan provides technical basis for out-year capital budget planning. As such, this document provides the methodology for prioritization of capital funds and identifies when decisions need to be made in regard to mission flexibility and funding approval. Capital improvements and technology development required to maintain the processing capability to meet the defined goals and operating schedules of the mission alternatives are also addressed. Further, this document provides a plan which programs (e.g., Environmental Restoration and Waste Management and Landlord) and other Hanford Site activities can use as a basis for future planning. This document also provides the basis for the preparation of the five-year budget forecast. 9 refs., 4 figs., 6 tabs.
